Trace is a set of urban actions in which the artist walks in different locations wearing a thirty-meter long red dress weighing 10 kilograms. The work has been performed at various points in the city of São Paulo, at the International Performance Festival, Perfochoroní, in Venezuela, and was part of the festival Degeneradas at SESC Santana in 2016, as well as being presented in photography and video formats.

The action consists of "crossing" the city with the highest frequency color of the spectrum, contrasting with the tones of the concrete. Its length added to the vibration provide a panoramic view of the work that aims to change the everyday realities in which it is included through its presence.

The clothing is an expansion of the body that accentuates the spaces through which it passes. The weight of the tail is the weight of presence and history contained in it. It also symbolizes the materialization of the body that doesn't end at the boundary of the skin, overflows, carries memories and leaves traces.

In addition to the dress, Tathy uses a mirrored mask that cancels out her face and allows the passers-by to see themselves as part of the work. As the intersection between artist and audience is an essential part of her work, she uses the reflection to share the feeling of expansion.

The color red appears in other works by the performer as a symbol of the vital and creative energy, such as in Aupaba, where the color comes from her own menstrual blood, or My Name Is Not Sweetheart, where the red of the mouth is intertwined with the red of the vagina in a set of pictures that express the desire to give a voice to the female genital organ.
